Jorge Rondon joins Bucaneros

Bucaneros de La Guaira (SLB) added 30-year old former international swingman Jorge Rondon (193-90) as a reinforcement player for the Superliga 2020 playoffs. It is actually his comeback to La Guaira as he has played here before. Rondon played in the regular season for Llaneros in the SLB. In 11 games he recorded 4.5ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.6apg.
Rondon was a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. He was called to Venezuelan Senior National Team between 2012 and 2015 and previously for U18 National Team in 2008.
Rondon has played previously for eight other teams: Panteras, Marinos, Toros, Atleticos, Guacharos, Piratas, Cangrejeros and Metropolitanos.
Among many awards Rondon's team made it to the LNB Semifinals for four years in a row ( between 2014 and 2017). He received also Latinbasket.com Venezuelan LNB All-Defensive Team award back in 2011.
