Jackson Zapata (Heroes) joins Broncos via draft

Broncos BBC de Caracas (SLB) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old Venezuelan naturalized Colombian small forward Jackson Zapata (198cm). He moved there from Heroes via the SLB's Playoffs Draft. In 16 SLB games he had 14.1ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg this season. Zapata also spent pre-season at Hurricanes (LPB) in Colombian league.
Zapata was a member of Venezuelan U21 National Team back in 2004.
He is quite experienced player. Zapata has played also professionally in Venezuela (Guaiqueries, Tiburones, Bucaneros, Guacharos and Piratas), Colombia (Bucaros), Ecuador (Iccan) and Peru (Etoway Trujillo).
His team made it to the LPB Semifinals in 2020.
