Miguel Fernandez (Condores) joins Gigantes via draft

Gigantes de Guayana (SLB) agreed terms with 29-year old Venezuelan-Colombian forward Miguel Fernandez (194cm). He moved there from Condores via the Superliga's Playoffs Draft. In 15 SLB games in Venezuela he had very impressive stats: 17.1ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg this season.
Fernandez has played also professionally in Venezuela (Marinos, Toros, Anzoategui, Araguenos and Llaneros), Colombia (Cafeteros, Sabios, Marinos de Bolivar, Cimarrones and Patriotas) and El Salvador (Arce).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Fernandez's team made it to the LNB Semifinals in 2016. He was also voted Latinbasket.com Venezuelan LPB All-Newcomers Team back in 2012.
