Tristan Spurlock (ex NCG Potros) joins Spartans

Spartans de Districto Capital Caracas (SLB) agreed terms with 30-year old American forward Tristan Spurlock (203cm-104kg-91, college: UCF) for the upcoming SLB 2021 Cup. Spurlock played last summer at NCG Potros in Mexican LBE league. In 8 games he had very impressive stats: 16.1ppg, 11.5rpg, 4.3apg and 1.5spg.
In 2014 he was drafted by Canton Charge (D-League) in second round (29th overall).
The former University of Central Florida star is in his ninth season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
Spurlock is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in nine different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Spurlock has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Gimnasia, La Union and Quimsa), China (Chongqing), Georgia (Cactus), Hungary (Alba), Israel, Lebanon (Byblos), Puerto Rico (Leones), Sweden (BC Lulea) and Mexico (Aaguacateros and Rayos de Hermosillo).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Mexican LNBP 2020 in 2020. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Hungarian League All-Imports Team back in 2016.
