Brillantes land Eduardo Torres, send Neill Ojeda to Bucaneros

Brillantes de Maracaibo (SLB) landed experienced 39-year old former Venezuelan-Colombian international 194cm forward Eduardo Torres for the SLB 2021 Cup. Torres played last summer at Bucaneros and is coming to a new team in a trade that involved PF-C Neill Ojeda (190-SF-91), now with Bucaneros. In 12 SLB games he averaged 9.8ppg and 4.8rpg. The last season he played at Titanes in Colombian league. But in only one Liga Americas game he did not score anything. He was a member of Venezuelan Senior National Team back in 2009.
Torres is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Dominican Republic, Mexico, Spain and Colombia (Sabios, Llaneros and Condores) and Venezuela (Estudiantes, Piratas, Caciques and Cangrejeros).
Among many awards he won Colombian LPB championship title for three years in a row ( between 2018 and 2020).
Torres is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Brillantes.
