Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Cup round 6 most important game was a victory of Diablos over 5th ranked Taurinos 105-76 on Friday night. Diablos shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 64.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for guard Juan Mejias (184-95) who led his team to a victory with 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). point guard Martin Escobar (185-88) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Gregory Curvelo (195-90) replied with 13 points for Taurinos. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Diablos (3-3) moved-up to third place. Taurinos at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Trotamundos. Diablos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Caracas Llaneros.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Caracas: Spartans (#1) and Heroes (#7). Spartans (7-0) won against visiting Heroes (0-5) 69-61. International center Windi Graterol (204-86) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Pedro Chourio chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Axiers Sucre (199-78) with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Spartans have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. Heroes at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Caracas: Gladiadores (#2) and Broncos (#4). Broncos were defeated at home 67-76 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Broncos. Carlos Cedeno notched 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort. Even 23 points by Musa Abdul-Aleem did not help to save the game for Broncos. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gladiadores maintains second position with 4-1 record behind leader Spartans. Loser Broncos dropped to the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Supersonicos. Gladiadores will meet Centauros (#6) in the next round. Broncos will play against Supersonicos in Margarita and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 6: Centauros were beaten by Cangrejeros on the road 61-50. Supersonicos lost to undefeated Guaiqueries on its own court 57-63. Taurinos managed to outperform Heroes in La Asuncion 99-82. Trotamundos recorded a loss to Cocodrilos at home 64-68.
The most impressive performance of 6th round was 9 points and 10 rebounds by Miguel Ruiz of Trotamundos.
