Yolimar Martinez is a newcomer at Zulianas

SLB newcomer Zulianas BBC strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old international 184cm center Yolimar Martinez. The last time (2021) she played at Patriotas in Venezuelan SLB league.
She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Martinez has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2013 and previously for U16 National Team back in 2011.
She represented Venezuela at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) this year. Martinez's team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 4 games: 1.3ppg, 1.3rpg.
Martinez has played previously for three other teams: Falcon, Bucaneras and Atleticas.
Among many awards her team made it to the LINABAFE Semifinals in 2021. She was also voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LINABAFE Center of the Year in 2021.
