SPB Round 4 of Semi-Finals. Centauros and Cocodrilos record wins

Centauros - Trotamundos 96-72

Centauros fired past Trotamundos to draw things even in the series. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian swingman Martin Fernandez (195-1997) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Argentinian guard Juan Arengo (185-1996) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Five Centauros players scored in double figures. Naturalized American Donta Smith (201-1983, college: SE Illinois JC) replied with 21 points and 5 assists and international center Nestor Colmenares (200-1987, college: Campbellsville, agency: Pro Sports) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Trotamundos. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Guaiqueries - Cocodrilos 80-85

Cocodrilos topped Guaiqueries to level things up at 2-2. Guaiqueries were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican Juan Guerrero (203-1993) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and Dominican Luis Montero (203-1993, college: South Plains, agency: BIG) who added 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Cocodrilos players scored in double figures. At the losing side international point guard Heissler Guillent (186-1986) responded with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals and American guard Melvin Johnson (193-1993, college: VCU) scored 15 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
