SPB 2023 - Tanksley Efianayi (ex Urunday) joins Guaiqueries

Guaiqueries-de-Margarita (SPB) agreed terms with 28-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198cm-95kg-1994, college: UCF) for the upcoming SPB 2023 season. Efianayi joins another USA player Tre' McLean who is already in the roster.
He just played at Urunday in Uruguayan LUB league. In 25 games he had very impressive stats: 19.0ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.9apg and 1.0spg last season. The last summer he played at Supersonicos in Venezuelan SPB where in 22 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 17.1ppg, 7.0rpg and 2.5apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times).
He is quite experienced player. Efianayi's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in five different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. Efianayi has played previously professionally in Argentina (Obera), Bulgaria (Balkan), Chile (Puente Alto), Ukraine (Odessa) and North Macedonia (Gostivar).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the North Macedonian League Semifinals in 2019. He was voted to Eurobasket.com North Macedonian League All-Imports Team back in 2019.
Efianayi graduated from University of Central Florida in 2017 and it is his sixth season as a professional player.
