Spartans-de-Distrito-Capital-Caracas (SPB) landed 28-year old American 206cm forward Tyrell Williams (college: Albany State) for the upcoming SPB 2023 season. Williams played most recently at Prizreni in Kosovan Superliga. In 5 games he averaged 8.6ppg and 5.2rpg last season. He also played 5 games in Liga Unike where he had 6.2ppg and 4.0rpg.
Williams has played previously professionally in Portugal (Terceira) and Vietnam (Dragons). His team won MAAC Tournament in 2017 and 2018.
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Honorable Mention back in 2020.
He graduated from Albany State in 2019 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
