SPB 2023 - Marinos sign Adris De Leon, ex CDP

Marinos de Anzoategui (SPB) signed experienced 38-year old Dominican point guard Adris De Leon (180cm-1984, college: EWU). De Leon just played at CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago in Santiago League in Dominican Republic.
He represented Dominican Republic at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) four years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 7.0ppg, 1.8apg, 1.2spg, FGP: 37.5%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 61.5%.
De Leon is quite experienced player. He has played in nine different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). De Leon has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Platense), Australia (Adelaide 36ers and Illawarra Hawks), Canada, Colombia (Cimarrones, Bucaros and Titanes), Poland (Spojnia and MKS DG), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros and Osos), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Spain and Dominican Republic (San Lazaro, Metros, La Mattica, La Villa and Indios). He won Dominican Republic Santiago League championship title in 2017 and 2018. De Leon was voted to Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL Honorable Mention back in 2012 and 2013.
He graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2009 and it is his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player. De Leon played also for College of Southern Idaho for one year.
