SPB 2023 - Alihan Demir (ex Turk Telekom) is a newcomer at Heroes

Heroes De Falcon (SPB) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old Turk 206cm power forward Alihan Demir (college: Minnesota). He played recently at Turk Telekom in Turkish BSL league. But in 9 games he recorded just 0.4ppg and 1.0rpg last season. He also played 4 games in Eurocup, but he did not score anything and had only 2 rebounds and 1 assist. The last summer he played at Rayos de Hermosillo in Mexican CIBACOPA where in 35 games he averaged 14.6ppg, 6.4rpg and 2.5apg. He helped them to make it to the Mexican CIBACOPA final. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Honorable Mention, All-Star Game and League Player of the Week.
He has played previously professionally also in Bulgaria (Balkan).
Demir graduated from University of Minnesota in 2020 and it is his third season in pro basketball. He played also for Drexel University for 2 years.
