Venezuelans Abroad - Daniela Wallen (Keflavik) keeps her team alive in Iceland's Finals

Venezuelan SF-PF Daniela Wallen (179-SF-1995, college: Okla City) kept Keflavik alive in the 2022-2023 Subway League Finals in Iceland, by completing a double double of 24 points and 12 rebounds, in a victory over Valur, 78-66, that put the series 2-1 in favor of Valur after three games.

Wallen added 3 assists and 3 steals in 35 minutes as a starter, scoring 6 out of 8 two point shots, 3 of 5 three-points and 3 of 3 free-throws. She got help from Bulgarian point guard Karina Konstantinova (173-PG-1999) with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals.

For the losing side, Kiana Johnson (171-G-1993, college: Virginia Union) ended up with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Portuguese PG Simone Costa (178-G-1996, college: Georgia) contributed with 16 points.

Game 4 will take place on April 28th. Wallen is averaging an impressive 20.4 points, 11.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 0.5 blocks and 4.4 steals after 34 games including regular season and the playoffs.
