SLBF Round 2 (Super Round): Costaneras and Hidrocarburos completed sweeps and lead the standings

Costaneras de Puerto Cabello (2-0) and Hidrocarburos de Caracas (2-0) completed two-game sweeps in Round 2 of the playoffs in Venezuela's SLBF 2026 (the Super Round).

Costaneras defeated Marineras de Anzoategui (0-2), 86-38, as hosts, while Hidrocarburos (2-0) had a tougher assignment but still prevailed at home against Caribenas de Caracas (0-2), 75-60.

Yoliannys Uribe led Costaneras with 20 points, Enggy Rudas (195-C-2006) added 14 with 5 boards and a couple of blocks and Odeth Betancourt (188-F-2000, college: WKU) ended with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals.

For the visitors, Yanetsy Zamaro (178-PF-1998) finished with 11 points, 9 rebounds and a couple of steals, while Danielis Ysasis (180-F-2004) added 10 points, 5 steals and 4 boards.

Hidrocarburos enjoyed a great game by Roselis Silva (166-PG-1991, college: Arkansas Tech), who turned on her offensive skills with 16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

She got help from Jormelys Urbina (170-G-1996) with 12 points and 4 steals, Waleska Perez (180-G-1994, college: Weatherford JC) with a double double of 10 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and a couple of blocks and another international signing, Venezuela's top Senior National Team star, Daniela Morillo-Wallen (179-SF-1995, college: Okla City), who netted 10 points and added 9 rebounds and a couple of steals.

Caribenas fought hard. Yurkia Gallardo (SG-1991) led their scoring with 18 points, adding 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Barbara Velasquez (168-PG-2002) was her sidekick with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
