Hidrocarburos de Caracas (SLBF) signed experienced 34-year old Venezuelan-Spanish ex-international point guard Roselis Silva (166cm-1991, college: Arkansas Tech). She moved there from Tindastoll in Icelandic Subway League. In 9 games she had 8.6ppg, 5.2rpg, 9.1apg and 3.2spg last season. She helped them to make it to the Icelandic Cup Semifinals. Last season she played at Azul Marino Sant Josep Palma de Mallorca (LF Challenge) in Spain. Silva also played for another Spanish team Azulejos Moncayo Helios (LF2) in Spain where in 15 games she recorded 3.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 2.2apg. She contributed to her team making it to the semifinals.
Silva was also a member of the Venezuelan international program for some years. She played for Venezuelan Senior National Team between 2008 and 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2008.
Silva is a highly experienced player, having played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and North America). She has played professionally in Iceland, Mexico (Halcones), Paraguay (Sol de America Asuncion), Spain (Zamora, Bembibre, Gernika, Logrono, and Araski), and Venezuela (Anzoategui).
Among many awards, she was voted Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBPF Defensive Player of the Year back in 2023.
She graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2014 and is currently in her twelfth season as a professional player.
