SPB 2023 - Ra'shad James (ex Al Wahda) agreed terms with Broncos

Broncos BBC de Caracas (SPB) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old American ex-international 185cm guard Ra'shad James (college: Iona). James moved there from Al Wahda in UAE ULB league.
Part of last summer he spent at Scarborough (CEBL) in Canadian league where in 8 games he recorded 8.0ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.1apg. He also played for Caneros in Dominican Rep. LNB. In 7 games he averaged 13.0ppg, 3.3rpg and 4.1apg. James was a member of USA Senior National Team between 2017 and 2021.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in ten different countries. James has played previously professionally in Croatia (Cedevita), France (Boulazac Basket), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm and Telekom Baskets), Italy (Ravenna), Korea (Wonju DB), Morocco (AS Sale), Poland (AZS), Turkey (OGM Orman and Yesilgiresun), NBA G League (Stockton Kings, Westchester Knicks and Birmingham Squadron) and The Basketball Tournament (Money Team).
Among many awards he played in the final of CEBL in 2022. He was voted to Afrobasket.com All-Basketball Africa League Honorable Mention in 2021.
James graduated from Iona College in 2012 and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. He played also for St. Thomas Aquinas College for 2 years.
