SPB 2023 - Stefan Moody comes back to Trotamundos, ex Roanne

Defending champion Trotamundos de Carabobo (SPB) added to their roster 29-year old American point guard Stefan Moody (179cm-84kg-1993, college: Ole Miss). It is actually his comeback to Valencia as he has played here before. Moody moved there from Chorale de Roanne Basket in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 34 games he recorded 10.8ppg, 2.5rpg, 7.2apg and 1.8spg last season.
The most of last season he spent at Larissa BC in Greek GBL where in 26 games he was league's fourth best scorer with impressive 15.7ppg and had 3.2rpg, 4.7apg and 1.8spg (leader !!!). He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Guard of the Year and selected to All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week (2 times). Moody also spent pre-season at Ionikos Basket (A1) in Greece. It was another spectacular season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Guard of the Year and selected to All-Imports Team and also here League Player of the Week (2 times).
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Moody's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in five different countries. Moody has played previously professionally in Belarus (BC Minsk), Hungary (Debreceni Egyetem), Turkey (Trabzonspor), Greece (Rethymno) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete).
His team won Venezuelan LPB Cup in 2019.
He graduated from University of Mississippi in 2016 and it is his seventh season as a professional player. Moody played also for Kilgore College for one year.
