SPB 2023 - Pedro Chourio is back at Cocodrilos via draft

Cocodrilos de Caracas (SPB) agreed terms with 33-year old international swingman Pedro Chourio (186cm-1990, agency: Pro Sports), after drafting him for the SPB 2023 Conference Semifinals. It is actually his comeback to Caracas as he has played here before. Chourio played this summer at Panteras in the SPB. In 30 games just recently he had 11.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 3.4apg and 1.4spg.
He also represented Venezuela at the World Cup in China four years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 4.4ppg, 1.4rpg.
Chourio is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (Olimpico and Estudiantes Concordia), Mexico (Dorados), Uruguay (Goes) and Venezuela (Centauros de Apure, Trotamundos, Guaros, Aduaneros and Caciques). Chourio played in the final of Venezuelan LNB in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SLB Forward of the Year in 2021.
