Marinos de Anzoategui (SPB) inked 26-year old Venezuelan 201cm swingman Luis A. Hurtado Jr. for upcoming season. Hurtado graduated last year from Mercer (NCAA) in USA. In 32 games he recorded 7.3ppg, 4.2rpg and 3.3apg.
He started his college career at University of Alabama at Birmingham (NCAA) where he played three seasons. Then he moved to Bryant University (NCAA). His high school career he had spent at The Sagemont School in Weston, FL.
Of course it will be Hurtado's first season in professional basketball.
