SPB 2024 - Spartans add Brooks to their roster, ex Istogu

DaQuan Brooks

Spartans de Distrito Capital Caracas (SPB) added to their roster 33-year old American point guard DaQuan Brooks (177cm-1990, college: W.Connecticut). Brooks played recently at Istogu in Kosovan Liga e pare, but left the team in Mar.'24. In 10 games he recorded 10.5ppg, 2.4rpg, 4.4apg and 1.1spg last season.
The most of last summer he spent at Gigantes in Venezuelan SPB where in 21 games he averaged 13.8ppg, 2.5rpg and 5.2apg. He also played for Al Fara (PBBA) in Palestinian league.
Brooks is quite experienced player. Thanks to Brooks' pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in twelve different countries. He has played previously professionally in Chile (Ancud), Mexico (Huracanes), Qatar (Al Wakrah), Saudi Arabia (Al Ansar), Turkey (Ankaragucu), Venezuela (Panteras), Libya (Al Nasr), Dominican Republic (Indios), NBA G League (Maine Celtics), Canada (Moncton Magic, Orangeville A's and Highlanders), TBL (Vancouver K.) and The Basketball Tournament (We are D3).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team made it to the Venezuelan LPB Cup Final Four in 2019. Brooks was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Nacional Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2012 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
