Cocodrilos de Caracas (SPB) tabbed 21-year old Venezuelan international 187cm swingman Franger Pirela for the upcoming SPB 2024 season. Pirela played recently at La Matanza in Spanish EBA league. In 9 games he averaged 12.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.1apg and 1.6spg last season. He also played for Melilla Sport Capital Enrique Soler (LEB Silver) in Spain where in 12 EBA games he had 8.4ppg, 2.5rpg and 3.0apg.
Pirela also represented Venezuela at the Panamerican Games in Santiago (Chile) last year.
He has played previously professionally also in Venezuela (Marinos and Gladiadores) and Spain (Grupo Eleyco Baskonia B team).
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com Venezuelan SPB All-Rookie Team in 2022.
