SLBF 2024 - Cynthia Polanco is a newcomer at Indias

Indias de Miranda (SLBF) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 38-year old ex-international forward Cynthia Polanco (180cm-1985). Polanco moved there from Capitalinas in Venezuelan SLBF where she started the season. She missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Polanco also represented Venezuela at the FIBA Americas in Edmonton (Canada) nine years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 0.4ppg.
She has spent her entire career in Venezuela playing for six other teams: Guerreras, Anzoategui, Llaneras, Bucaneras, Guaras and Patriotas. Polanco played in the final of Venezuelan LINABAFE in 2011, 2012 and 2014.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LINABAFE Forward of the Year back in 2021.
