SLBF 2024 - Caribenas land Yurkia Gallardo

SLBF newcomer Caribenas de Caracas tabbed 33-year old shooting guard Yurkia Gallardo. Gallardo moved there from Bucaneras in Venezuelan D2 league where she started the season. She missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Gallardo played also at Anzoategui. She won Venezuelan LINABAFE championship title in 2014, 2016 and 2021.
Among many awards she was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LINABAFE Honorable Mention back in 2021.
