SLFB 2024 - Indias (3-0) win third straight and Capitalinas (1-2) hand Gaiteras (0-4) fourth straight defeat

Indias de Miranda (3-0) got their third straight victory to start the 2024 edition of Venezuela's Superliga Femenina de Baloncesto (SLFB), by taking down Gaiteras del Zulia (0-3), 76-75, while Capitalinas de Miranda (1-2) extended Gaiteras del Zulia's losing streak to four games the next night, by securing a win, 65-62.

Nicaraguan Shannen Peralta (F-2003) was once against the MVP for Indias, this time with 26 points, 9 rebounds and an assist. For Gaiteras, Stefany Ferrer (177-SF-2005) finished up with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

Meanwhile, Capitalinas took advantage of a great performance by Barbara Herrera (180-PF), who scored 24 points and added 8 rebounds. Jessuana Machado (176-SF-2004) added 13 points and 6 rebounds and Fabiana Garcia (169-PG-2006) finished up with 12 points and 5 rebounds.

For Gaiteras, Joan Ramirez (161-PG) finished up with 18 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds while Cuban Nayara Espinosa (189-C-2001) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and an assist.
