SLFB 2024 - Guadalupe Diaz (ex Quimsa) signs at Gaiteras

Gaiteras del Zulia (SLBF) landed 24-year old Venezuelan international 163cm point guard Guadalupe Diaz. The last time (2022) she played at Quimsa in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina.
She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Diaz has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2021 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2016.
She represented Venezuela at the Olympic Games Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Medellin (Colombia) last year. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 0pts, 1.0rpg.
Diaz has played previously professionally in Mexico (Mexcaltecas) and Venezuela (Anzoategui, Yaracuyanas, Pastoras and Taurinas). Her team made it to the Venezuelan LINABAFE Semifinals in 2016 and 2021.
