American-Argentinian Romeao Ferguson (196-G-1997) had a very impressive game in the last round for Diablos de Miranda and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 35.
The 27-year old guard had the game-high 32 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Diablos as his team lost the game against Heroes (#4, 12-11) 84-96. Diablos maintains the 9th position in their group in the Venezuelan SPB. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Diablos have already lost 16 games and recorded just four victories. In the team's last game Ferguson had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He has many years of experience at Diablos, through which he has constantly improved. Lipscomb University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ferguson is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.1ppg. Ferguson is in league's top in assists (9th best: 3.6apg) and averages solid 54.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international swingman Jose Vargas (195-G/F-1982, agency: Pro Sports) of Toros de Aragua. Vargas impressed basketball fans with 24 points and 7 rebounds. It was enough for Toros to edge slightly higher-ranked Frontinos (#7, 8-15) by 6 points 81-75. Toros' 9th position in Group I has not changed. 15 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Toros managed to get this year. Vargas is one of the most experienced players at Toros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Kelvin Caraballo (198-F-1988) of Heroes De Falcon (#4). Caraballo scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Heroes, leading his team to a 96-84 win against the lower-ranked Diablos (#9, 4-16). Heroes needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group II. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 11 lost games. Caraballo has a very solid season. In 23 games in Venezuela he scored 6.7ppg. He also has 5.4rpg and a FGP of 58.9%.
