SLFB 2024 - Pastoras defeat Capitalinas in stellar debut of Anisleidy Galindo

Pastoras de Lara got a victory in their first game as hosts against Capitalinas de Distrito Capital, 87-76, in a two-game series that will be completed this Saturday (July 6th) at Napoleon Rodriguez Arena in Barquisimeto, Lara, as part of the regular season in Venezuela's Superliga Femenina de Baloncesto (SLFB) 2024.

Cuban Anisleidys Galindo (181-SG-1989) played her first game as foreign reinforcement player for Pastoras and led the way with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

Meanwhile, Mariana Duran (172-PG-1993, college: Okla City) added 13 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds, Nicole Garcia (174-SG-2001) followed them with 12 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds and Fabiana Hernandez (173-PG-2006) finished up with 11 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
