Jordan Williams gets MVP of the Week award for Venezuelan SPB

Experienced American Jordan Williams (196-G/F-1992) had a great game in the last round for Broncos BBC de Caracas and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 39.
The 32-year old swingman had the game-high 24 points adding three rebounds and five assists for Broncos in his team's victory, helping them to beat Brillantes (#6, 11-11) 88-83. Broncos is placed at 3rd position in Venezuelan SPB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Broncos will need more victories to improve their 13-10 record. Williams has many years of experience at Broncos, through which he has constantly improved. University of North Texas graduate has very impressive stats this year. Williams is in league's top in points (2nd best: 20.3ppg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international power forward Elian Centeno (200-PF-2000) of Pioneros Del Avila. Centeno impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Pioneros to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Frontinos (#7, 8-16) 102-63. Pioneros' 4th position in Group I has not changed. His team's 13-10 record is not bad at all. Centeno is one of the most experienced players at Pioneros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Gary McGhee (210-C-1988, agency: Inception Sports) of second-ranked Guaiqueries de Margarita. McGhee scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Guaiqueries, leading his team to a 93-66 easy win against the lower-ranked Diablos (#9, 4-19). Guaiqueries needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group II. Their record at this point is 17 victories and 7 lost games. McGhee has a very solid season. In 22 games in Venezuela he scored 9.6ppg. He also has 7.7rpg and a FGP of 60.5%.

9. Marquez Letcher-Ellis (203-F-1997) of Brillantes - 11 points and 9 rebounds
10. Heldrin Guillent (180-G-1998) of Broncos - 13 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
