Aguehil Fajardo (ex Lavovi) agreed terms with Barcelos

Basquete de Barcelos (Liga Feminina) inked 24-year old Venezuelan international 183cm power forward Aguehil Fajardo for upcoming season. Fajardo played most recently at Lavovi in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I, but left the team in Feb.'24. In only one game she had very impressive stats: 17 points, 18 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals last season. She also played 7 games in WABA where she recorded 10.1ppg, 9.9rpg, 2.0apg and 1.9spg.
The previous (2022-23) season she played at Esgueira in Portuguese Liga Feminina. In 27 games she averaged 11.8ppg and 9.4rpg in that year. Fajardo helped them to make it to the semifinals. Good season as she was voted League Player of the Week.
She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Fajardo has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2016 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2016.
She represented Venezuela at the Olympic Games Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Medellin (Colombia) last year. Her stats at that event were 3 games: Score-4(14.3ppg), Reb-4(8.7rpg), 1.7apg, Steals-4(2.0spg), Blocks-5(1.0bpg), FGP: 46.4%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 50.0%.
Fajardo has played also professionally in Chile (Castro), Spain (Marratxi) and Uruguay (Defensor Sporting Club Montevideo).
She played in the final of Uruguayan Liga Femenina in 2019.
