Dominican Rep. Jassel Perez (195-G/F-2001) had a great game in the last round for Spartans de Distrito Capital Caracas and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 23-year old swingman had the game-high 18 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for Spartans in his team's victory, helping them to beat Marinos (3-1) 79-72. Spartans is placed at 3rd position in Venezuelan SPB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Spartans will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. Perez just recently signed at Spartans, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Perez has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 17.3ppg) and averages solid 69.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American Rakim Brown (198-SF-1991) of Toros de Aragua. Brown impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Toros lost that game 66-83 to the higher-ranked Trotamundos (#5, 3-1). Despite lost game Toros moved up to 13th position in the standings. 4 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Brown is one of the most experienced players at Toros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.8ppg (#1). He also registered 8.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Dominican Rep. Juan Suero (196-G-1993) of Piratas de la Guaira (#11). Suero scored 21 points. He was a key player of Piratas, leading his team to a 94-88 win against Guaiqueries (#12, 0-3). Piratas can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. TSuero has a very solid season. In 4 games in Venezuela he scored 16.0ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
