Experienced Dominican Rep. Juan Suero (196-G-1993) had a very impressive game in the last round for Piratas de la Guaira and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 31-year old guard had the game-high 28 points adding seven rebounds and eight assists for Piratas in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Cocodrilos (#11, 3-5) 89-87. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Piratas is placed at 10th position in Venezuelan SPB. Piratas is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. In the team's last game Suero had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Piratas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Suero has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 20.7ppg. Suero is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.2apg) and averages solid 60.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American Rakim Brown (198-SF-1991) of Toros de Aragua. Brown impressed basketball fans with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course Toros cruised to a 77-66 relatively comfortable win over Llaneros (#14, 0-8). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Toros keeps 13th position. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Toros managed to get this year. Brown is one of the most experienced players at Toros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.9ppg (#8). He also registered 7.4 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Isaac Banks (201-F-1994) of Cocodrilos de Caracas (#11). Banks scored 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Banks' great performance the Cocodrilos lost 87-89 to slightly higher-ranked Piratas (#10, 3-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Cocodrilos not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Banks could try to bring Cocodrilos' a little bit higher in the standings. Banks has a very solid season. In 5 games in Venezuela he scored 12.6ppg.

4. Ra'shad James (185-G-1990) of Piratas - 26 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
