Experienced American Rakim Brown (198-SF-1991) had an amazing evening in the last round for Toros de Aragua and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 33-year old had the game-high 18 points adding seven rebounds and five assists for Toros in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Llaneros (#14, 2-9) 77-75. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Toros maintains the 13th position in Venezuelan SPB. Toros is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 4-8 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Toros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Humboldt State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (8th best: 16.2ppg) and rebounds (6th best: 7.3rpg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Delwan Graham (200-F-1988, agency: Interperformances) of Llaneros de Guarico. Graham impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Llaneros was edged by slightly higher-ranked Toros (#13, 4-8) 77-75. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Llaneros is still at the dead bottom 14th position. 9 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Llaneros managed to get this year. Graham is one of the most experienced players at Llaneros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Toros' star - Brian Guidi (200-F/C-1991). Guidi scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was another key player of Toros de Aragua, helping his team with a 77-75 win against slightly lower-ranked Llaneros (#14, 2-9). The chances of Toros not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Guidi could try to bring Toros' a little bit higher in the standings. Guidi has a very solid season. In 12 games in Venezuela he scored 8.2ppg. He also has 5.0rpg and a FGP of 62.7%.
