SLFB 2025 - Yosimar Corrales agreed terms with Diosas

SLBF newcomer Diosas de Guacara added to their roster experienced 35-year old former international 184cm power forward Yosimar Corrales for upcoming season. Corrales played last summer at Indias in the D2.
She was also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Corrales played for Venezuelan Senior National Team between 2008 and 2023 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2008.
She also represented Venezuela at the Olympic Games Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Medellin (Colombia) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 4.0ppg, 1.3rpg.
Corrales is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in Argentina (Obras and Quimsa), Mexico (Escaramuzas), Uruguay (Malvin), Peru (Real Club), Venezuela (Anzoategui, Bucaneras, Cangrejas, Pastoras and Cayenas), Ecuador (Uruguay and Leones) and El Salvador (FAS). Corrales won Venezuelan LINABAFE championship title in 2014, 2015 and 2021.
Among many awards she was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LINABAFE Honorable Mention back in 2021.
