Experienced International Center Nestor Colmenares (200-C-1987) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Trotamundos de Carabobo and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 33.
The 37-year old center had a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Llaneros (#14, 5-17) 79-75. Trotamundos maintains the 5th position in Venezuelan SPB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Trotamundos will need more victories to improve their 13-9 record. In the team's last game Colmenares had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Trotamundos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Campbellsville University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Colmenares is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 7.6rpg) and averages solid 50.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Sydney Curry (203-F-2000) of Panteras de Miranda. Curry impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Panteras lost that game 65-87 to the higher-ranked Marinos (#3, 14-8). Panteras is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-15 record. Curry is one of the most experienced players at Panteras and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#5). He also registered 11.4 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Dominican Rep. Juan Suero (196-G-1993) of Piratas de la Guaira (#8). Suero scored 23 points. He was a key player of Piratas, leading his team to a 83-77 win against the higher-ranked Spartans (#4, 14-9). Piratas needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 10 lost games. Suero has a great season in Venezuela. After 19 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.5ppg (2nd best) and assists with 4.1apg (7th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
