SPB 2025 - Rakim Brown (Toros) selected by Pioneros for the playoffs

Rakim Brown

Pioneros Del Avila (SPB) inked 33-year old American 198cm small forward Rakim Brown (college: Humboldt State). Brown moved there from Toros. In 25 SPB games in Venezuela just recently he recorded very impressive stats: 16.2ppg, 6.4rpg, 2.4apg and 1.1spg last season. Good year as he was voted League Player of the Week.
He is a very experienced player. Brown has played also professionally in Argentina (La Union and Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos), Chile (CD Universidad de Concepcion, Castro, Puente Alto, Ancud and Las Animas), Mexico (Lobos Plateados de la BUAP) and Uruguay (Goes and Sayago). He was also selected to Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Nacional Honorable Mention back in 2018 and 2019.
His team was regular season runner-up in Chilean Liga Nacional Conferencia Centro in 2020.
Brown graduated from Humboldt State in 2016 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball. He played also for Eastern Washington University for one year.
