Pioneros - Trotamundos 66-76

Trotamundos outrebounded Pioneros 54-31 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Naturalized American Donta Smith (201-1983, college: SE Illinois JC) notched 13 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and Dominican guard Juan Suero (196-1993) supported him with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 21 points by Dominican-American forward Anyeuri Castillo (201-1997, college: USC Aiken) did not help to save the game for Pioneros. American power forward Jeff Allen (201-1987, college: Virginia Tech) added 14 points and 6 rebounds. Pioneros' coach Nelson Solorzano rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
