Pastoras de Lara (SLBF) signed 25-year old Venezuelan international forward Odeth Betancourt (188cm-2000, college: WKU). Betancourt played last season at Mondragon Unibersitatea in Spanish LF2 league. In 24 games she had 10.9ppg, 10.3rpg (#2 in the league), 1.0apg and 1.4spg.
She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Betancourt has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2017 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2016.
She represented Venezuela at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) three years ago. Her team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 3 games: 2.0ppg, 3.3rpg.
Betancourt graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2024 and it will be her second season as a professional player. She played for other colleges like: University of South Florida, Panola College.
