She is not a newcomer in Portuguese League as she played most recently at Sanjoanense in Divisao I. She helped her team get promotion to Liga Feminina. In 21 games she was league's third best scorer with impressive 18.1ppg and had 5.1rpg, 1.4apg and 1.3spg last season. She won Venezuelan Superliga championship title in 2022 and 2024. The previous (2023-24) season she played at CP Natacao where in 20 Liga Feminina games she recorded 14.7ppg, 9.2rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg in that year. Good season as she was voted League Player of the Week and selected to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Second Team. She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. She has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2015 and previously for U17 National Team back in 2013. Rivera represented Venezuela at the Olympic Games Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Medellin (Colombia) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 5.3ppg, 2.3rpg, FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 14.3%, FT: 50.0%. She is a very experienced player. Thanks to Rivera's pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in four different countries. Rivera has played previously professionally in Chile, Puerto Rico, Uruguay (Aguada) and Venezuela (Pastoras and Caribenas). Among many awards she was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Femenina Honorable Mention back in 2019. She graduated from University of Massachusetts in 2019 and it will be her seventh season in pro basketball. Rivera won Venezuelan Superliga championship title in 2022 and 2024.
