Venezuelans Abroad - Brianna Herlihy (Leganes, Spain) scored 15 points in defeat agaisnt Araski

American-Venezuelan F Brianna Herlihy (183-F-1998, college: Villanova) could not avoid the sixth defeat of Leganes (2-6) in Spain's 2025-2026 LF Challenge, despites scoring 15 points as part of the starting five against Araski (4-4), a team that ultimately got the win as visitors, 70-64, in Round 8.

Herlihy played 30 minutes and added 8 rebounds, one assist and a couple of steals, she turned the ball over once and also fouled three times. She netted 3 of 6 two-point shots, 1 of 7 three-pointers and she was perfect from the foul line (6 of 6).

Araski's top scorers were Noa Morro (190-C/F-2004) with 16 points and 7 rebounds, Mama Dembele (168-G-2002, college: S.Florida) with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals and Isabela Quevedo (188-PF-2003) with 11 points and 9 boards.

For Leganes, aside from Herlihy, Aminata Sangare (186-F-2002) added 11 points and 5 rebounds and Maya Dodson (191-F-1999, college: Notre Dame) finished up with 10 points, 6 rebounds, a steal and 3 blocks.

Herlihy is averaging 12 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks in 22.4 minutes per game, including 45.6% from the two-point distance, 20% from the three-point distaince and 80.6% from the free-throw line.

Her next game will be against Joventut Badalona (3-5) as visitors next Wednesday (December 3rd).
