SPB 2026 - Cocodrilos add Elvis Baez to their roster

Cocodrilos de Caracas (SPB) added experienced 36-year-old swingman Elvis Baez (191cm-1989) to their roster for the 2026 season. Baez played last summer at Marinos in the SPB, where he recorded 3.8ppg in 10 games and helped them win the regular season.
Baez is a highly experienced player, having played in Argentina (San Isidro), Colombia (Piratas, Bucaros, and Warriors), Venezuela (Trotamundos, Gaiteros, Guaros, Gigantes, and Bucaneros), and Bolivia (Vikingos).
Among many awards, he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SLB Honorable Mention back in 2021. Baez is close to retirement age as a player, and it's very possible he may end his playing career at Cocodrilos.
