SLBF Round 2 (Regular Season): Atleticas lose to Marineras

The most important game of round 2 took place in Anzoategui where Marineras edged Atleticas 54-51 on Friday night. Atleticas will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest. Marineras will try to continue on its current victory against Atleticas in Sucre.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Indias in Caracas. Visitors were defeated by Hidrocarburos 74-61. Hidrocarburos will again play against Indias in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Indias will have a break next round.
A very close game took place in Caracas between Gemelas and Caribenas. Caribenas got a very close victory on the road over Gemelas. Caribenas managed to escape with a 3-point win 67-64 on Friday evening. Gemelas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. A very close game took place in Caracas between Gemelas and Caribenas. Gemelas got a very close victory on the road over Caribenas. Gemelas managed to escape with a 3-point win 74-71 on Friday evening. Albanys Ramirez (174-G/F-2009) led the winners with 28 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals and a block. Ruby Escobar added 17 points. For Caribenas, Vanessa Sanchez (171-SF-2003) netted 21. Gemelas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Caribenas will play again against Gemelas in Miranda and hope to win that game.

Marineras - Atleticas 54-51

The most important game of round 2 took place in Anzoategui where Marineras edged Atleticas 54-51 on Friday night. Antonella Ramos scored 14 points to lead Marineras and Danielis Ysasis (180-F-2004) added a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
