Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Diablos (3-6) moved-up to ninth place. Panteras lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Diablos will play against league's leader Gaiteros in Maracaibo in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Panteras will play at home against Piratas (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
