Myke Henry gets MVP of the Week award for Venezuelan SPB (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced American Myke Henry (198-F-1992) put on an amazing game in the last round for Brillantes de Zulia and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 33-year old forward had the game-high 23 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Brillantes in his team's victory, helping them to crush Panteras (#13, 1-15) with 19-point margin 88-69. Brillantes maintains the 7th position in Venezuelan SPB. Brillantes is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-9 record. In the team's last game Henry had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Brillantes, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Myke Henry averages just after three games 17.3ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international point guard Heissler Guillent (186-PG-1986) of Pioneros Del Avila. Guillent impressed basketball fans with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. It was enough for Pioneros to edge slightly lower-ranked Marinos (#8, 8-9) by 1 point 74-73. Glass showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Brillantes de Zulia, helping his team with a 88-69 easy win against the lower-ranked Panteras (#13, 1-15). The chances of Brillantes ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Glass could help Brillantes to bring them higher in the standings. Glass has a very solid season. In 7 games in Venezuela he scored 16.9ppg.
