SLBF 2026 - Costaneras ink Odeth Betancourt, ex GMASB

Costaneras de Puerto Cabello (SLBF) agreed terms with 26-year old Venezuelan ex-international forward Odeth Betancourt (188cm-2000, college: WKU). She moved there from GMASB in Spanish LF2 league. In 16 games she had 14.8ppg, 11.4rpg and 1.0apg last season. During the last season, she played at another Spanish team Ointxe! Mondragon (LF Challenge) in Spain.
She was also a member of the Venezuelan international program for some years. Betancourt played for the Venezuelan Senior National Team between 2017 and 2024 and previously for the Under 18 National Team during 2016.
She won the Venezuelan League championship title in 2025.
Betancourt graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2024 and is in her second season as a professional player. She also played for other colleges such as the University of South Florida and Panola College.
