Experienced Dominican Rep. Luis Montero (203-SF-1993) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Cocodrilos de Caracas and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 33.
The 32-year old had a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed Spartans (#3, 15-7) with 36-point margin 97-61. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Cocodrilos maintains the 2nd position in Venezuelan SPB. They are still close to the very top. Cocodrilos would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 17-4 record. Montero just recently signed at Cocodrilos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. South Plains College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Montero leads league in rebounds with 10.4rpg. Montero is in league's top in assists (5th best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 2.2spg and 65.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Tevin Glass (203-C-1994) of Brillantes de Zulia. Glass impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Brillantes to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Diablos (#10, 7-14) 104-80. This victory allowed Brillantes to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-12 record. Glass is one of the most experienced players at Brillantes and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Dominican Rep. Richard Bautista (185-PG-1997) of Spartans de Distrito Capital Caracas (#3). Bautista showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. Despite Bautista's great performance the Spartans lost 88-91 to the lower-ranked Pioneros (#7, 11-10). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Spartans needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 15 victories and 7 lost games. Bautista has a great season in Venezuela. After 20 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.1apg (3rd best). He also has 2.9spg, a FGP of 52.8% and 3PT: 43.1%.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
