Campos number one in WBLA for round 5- September 25, 2023
The 21-year old player was the main contributor (13 points, seven rebounds and three assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Felix Perez (#4, 0-2), 57-51. Campos turned to be Univ.de Chile's top player in her first season with the team. Javiera Campos has solid league stats. She is in league's top in assists (6th best: 5.0apg) and averages impressive 58.3% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was young Candela Gentinetta (181-SF-2001) of league's second-best Obras. Gentinetta had a very good evening with a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Obras to edge Malvin (1-1) 57-52. Gentinetta is a newcomer at Obras, but is already one of team's top players. Third on the list of top players last round was another Univ.de Chile's star - Constanza Cardenas. Cardenas scored 9 points and grabbed seven rebounds. She was another key player of Univ.de Chile, helping her team with a 57-51 win against Felix Perez. Univ.de Chile has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage.
