Bermudas celebrated their second win in Nassau. As expected, Bermudas outplayed Cayman Islands 54-48 for 2-2 record in Group B. The second game saw Bermuda National team beat the CellOne ECL Select outfit 50-33.Bermudas Chris Crumpler scored 15 in a fine display. Coach Derrick Hendrickson had his ECL select primed for an upset as at the half they were down by only one point. Unfortunately, whatever National team Coach Roderick Spenser had to say to his team lit a fire under them as they picked apart the select team using both on and off-the-ball screens to free players. In the end, the national teams pedigree showed the select side, why they are the two-time defending Island Games gold medallists. The night was kicked off with the skills competition, which was won by Vernon Lambe who, despite slipping on his run, stayed focused on his way to victory. The three-point competition was won by Jason Simons when the finals turned out to be the battle of the Jasons as Jason Lowe succumbed to the pressure and Jason Simons rose to 2013 supremacy. The Slam Dunk competition saw Te Jour Riley and Dion Easton battle for the title. Tejour won after performing a dunk so spectacular that Easton felt his only chance at winning was to use his two attempts in the finals on a dunk that required him to catch a ball thrown to him while leaping over Reggie Tolosa. Had he achieved this dunk he may have been right but he missed both attempts.

The Outback Outlaws were handed their first defeat of the season by Fort Knox Panthers in basketball's CellOne Elite City League. The Panthers completed a 52-41 victory thanks in no small part to player-coach Graham Robinson's 16 points. Not to be outdone by big brother, team-mate Kevin Stephens led all scorers with 21 points. The first half was a relatively low-scoring affair with the Panthers leading 23-15 as both teams felt each other out, with no-one wanting to make the big mistake that would put their team out of the game. The Outlaws made an early run in the second half, cutting the Panthers lead to one, but they would get no closer as the Panthers were able to keep the score just out of reach for the remainder of the game.
