Laprovittola had a double-double by scoring 18 points and making 10 passes. He also added 4 rebounds in 32 minutes on the court. Real Madrid (20-14) is placed sixth in the Euroleague. The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. This year Laprovittola averages: 6.9ppg, 1.6rpg, 3.7apg, 2FGP: 44.8%, 3FGP: 35.0% and FT: 88.6% in 29 games he played so far. He played for the Argentinian senior national team two years ago.

Second place goes to former international forward Gabriel Deck (198-95, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nicolas Laprovittola and both played together in the last Euroleague game. Deck was the major contributor in a Real Madrid's victory against the closely-ranked Fenerbahce (20-14) crushing them 93-67. He recorded 19 points and added 4 passes. Bolmaro was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 3 passes in 26 minutes. The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. This year Bolmaro's overall stats are: 2.6ppg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 38.7% and FT: 73.9% in 23 games. He played for the Argentinian U19 national team two years ago.

   #4. Point guard Cristian Cortez (185-90, currently plays in Mexico) was not able to help Toros in their game against Ciudad (2-10) in the Mexican LBE (third division). Despite his very good performance in Wednesday night's game Cortez was the top scorer with 27 points. He also added 9 assists. The Regular Season already ended. Cortez has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.7ppg, 3.1rpg and 5.5apg. Cortez has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Mexican. He used to play for the Argentinian U19 national team back in 2009.

Former international forward Nicolas Brussino (202-93, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) was not able to secure a victory for Zaragoza (4-2) in their game against Nymburk (5-1) in the Basketball Champions League, despite his good performance last Thursday. Brussino had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 9 assists in 30 minutes. But the second-placed Zaragoza (4-2) was badly defeated 98-78 on the opponent's court by the leading Nymburk in the group L of Basketball Champions League. The Top 16 already ended in the Basketball Champions League. This year Brussino's total stats are: 9.6ppg, 4.5rpg and 4.6apg in 12 games. He used to play for the Argentinian national team two years ago.

Guard Erik Thomas (195-95, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Brazil) led Paulistano to a victory over the closely-ranked Pinheiros (1-2) crushing them 69-47 in a derby game in the Brazilian NBB on Wednesday night. Thomas was MVP of the game. He recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Paulistano/Unimed Sao Paolo (2-1) is placed second in the NBB. Thomas' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Former international forward Patricio Garino (201-93, college: GWU, currently plays in Lithuania) contributed to Zalgiris' victory against the closely-ranked Lietkabelis (19-9) 94-88 in the Lithuanian LKL in Tuesday night's game. Garino scored 12 points in only a mere 14 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (21-3) is placed second in the LKL. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. It's Garino's first season with the team. This year he averages only 4.5ppg in four games. He scored 9 points and added 6 assists. TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (21-8) is placed fourth in the Liga Endesa. Vildoza is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Baskonia's roster. This season Vildoza has relatively solid stats: 10.9ppg, 1.7rpg, 3.7apg and 1.6spg. He used to play for the Argentinian national team back in 2019.

He was the best player in that game. Scola recorded 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 31 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Openjobmetis Varese (2-1) is placed third in the Serie A. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Former international point guard Juan Pablo Figueroa (185-86, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Brazil) contributed to a 1-point Campo Mourao's victory against the closely-ranked Fortaleza 84-83 in the Brazilian NBB in Saturday night's game. Figueroa scored 13 points, made 7 passes and 3 steals in 34 minutes. Figueroa has averaged so far 5.5ppg, 2.4rpg and 5.3apg in 22 games. He used to play for the Argentinian national team seven years ago.

   #12. Former international forward Alexis Elsener (195-88, also represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Uruguay) couldn't help Goes in their game against Penarol in the Uruguayan LUB, despite his very good performance on Saturday night. Elsener was the top scorer with 23 points. He also added 7 rebounds and 3 assists (made all of his seven free throws) in 36 minutes. But his team was crushed by 29 points 98-69. Elsener has very impressive stats this year: 16.5ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.5spg in four games. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. He used to play for the Argentinian national team back in 2011.

   #13. Former U21 international point guard Lautaro Lopez (190-99, currently plays in Slovakia) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Prievidza crushing them 88-35 in the Slovakian SBL last Saturday. Lopez was the top player that evening. He scored 17 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 26 minutes. Lopez has very impressive stats this year: 18.1ppg, 7.1rpg, 7.1apg and 1.9spg in 33 games. He used to play for the Argentinian U21 national team three years ago.

   #14. Former international point guard Lucio Redivo (184-94, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Casale in their game against Torino in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). Despite his very good performance on Wednesday night Redivo was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists. This season Redivo has very high stats. He averages: 20.5ppg, 3.6rpg and 3.8apg. Redivo used to play for the Argentinian national team back in 2019.

   #15. Former international guard Juan Fernandez (193-90, college: Temple, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Trieste in their game against Virtus BO in the Italian Serie A. He scored 5 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 29 minutes. His team lost 67-81. Fernandez has reliable stats this year: 10.2ppg, 2.7rpg and 5.0apg in 23 games. He used to play for the Argentinian national team seven years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Argentinian passport but never been selected to any of Argentinian national teams:

   #1. Federico Mariani (190-G/F-92, currently plays in Uruguay) could not help Trouville (1-5) in their last game. Despite Mariani's very good performance Trouville lost 75-81 in a derby game to the higher-ranked (#5) Nacional. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Mariani also added 9 assists in 34 minutes. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Mariani has averaged so far 7.3ppg, 2.0rpg and 3.5apg in four games he played so far.

   #2. Experienced Damian Tintorelli (205-C-81, currently plays in Uruguay) is a teammate of previously mentioned Federico Mariani and both played together in the last Uruguayan LUB game. Tintorelli was not able to help Trouville (1-5) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance Trouville was defeated 81-75 in a derby game by the higher-ranked Nacional (#5). Tintorelli was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added 8 rebounds. Tintorelli has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.5ppg, 9.5rpg, 2.8apg and 1.2bpg. Tintorelli has a dual citizenship: Italian and Argentinian.

   #3. Joe Meneses (186-SG-1, currently plays in Venezuela) led Trotamundos to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Supersonicos (2-3) crushing them 80-58 in the Venezuelan SLB last Friday. Meneses recorded 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Trotamundos de Carabobo (3-1) is placed second in Group B. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Meneses has averaged so far 8.0ppg and 1.8rpg.

   #4. Ariel Filloy (190-PG-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) led Pesaro to a 2-point victory against the closely-ranked Fortitudo BO 79-77 in the Italian Serie A in Saturday night's game. Filloy scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro (2-1) is placed second in the Serie A. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Filloy has averaged so far 7.9ppg, 2.7rpg and 2.4apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.

   #5. Nicolas Ferreyra (181-PG-85, currently plays in Brazil) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Caxias do Sul (9-21) in their last game. Despite Ferreyra's very good performance Caxias do Sul was edged 85-83 at home by the higher-ranked (#11) Pato Basquete. He was the second best scorer with 18 points in 39 minutes. The Regular Season already ended. Ferreyra's stats this year are: 11.5ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.7apg in 23 games.

   #6. Albano Chiarastella (197-F-85, agency: BIG, currently plays in Italy) led Agrigento to a victory over the 11th-ranked Olginate 90-71 in the Italian Serie B (third division) in Sunday night's game. He was the top player that evening. Chiarastella recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 7 assists. Chiarastella averaged so far 10.9ppg, 11.8rpg, 4.5apg and 1.1spg. He has both Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

   #7. Joaquin Shuchman (191-SG-95, currently plays in Israel) managed to help Hapoel Yossi Avrahami Eilat in a victory against the 11th-ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv 108-93 in the Israeli Winner League in Monday night's game. Shuchman recorded only 3 points and added 3 passes in 11 minutes. Shuchman has averaged so far 3.3ppg and 1.4rpg in eight games. He also holds two passports: Argentinian and Israeli.

   #8. Donovan Johnson (201-F-92, college: KWC, currently plays in United Kingdom) contributed to a Manchester Giants' victory against the league leader Newcastle Eagles 95-91 in the British BBL last Friday. Johnson scored 11 points and blocked 2 blocks in 27 minutes. Johnson's stats this year are: 11.1ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.8apg in 24 games. He is a naturalized American.

   #9. Pedro Rubbera (191-SG-81, currently plays in Spain) was the main contributor in Benidorm's victory against the sixth-ranked Paterna 97-88 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) on Saturday night. Rubbera was the top player that evening. He scored 22 points. Rubbera has averaged so far 9.4ppg and 1.9rpg. He has Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

   #10. Mario Jose Ghersetti (201-PF-81, currently plays in Italy) helped Mantova win their game against the 11th-ranked Orzinuovi crushing them 102-74 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Saturday. Ghersetti scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Ghersetti averaged so far 11.3ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.5apg. He holds both Argentinian and Italian passports.
