Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Tenth-ranked Atenas (11-13) made lots of trouble for second ranked San Martin (21-4) in Cordoba on Thursday. The visitors from Corrientes managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected much easier game. Guard Dylan Bordon (182-2004) fired 20 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Franco Mendez (188-2002) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Ecuadorian guard Erick Mecias (184-2003) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Atenas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. San Martin have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain second place with 21-4 record behind leader Comunicaciones. Atenas at the other side keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Penarol. San Martin are looking forward to face Penarol (#11) in Mar del Plata in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Atenas will have a break next round.
The game in Cordoba supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked San Martin (21-4) played at the court of 5th ranked Instituto (17-9). San Martin smashed Instituto 111-88. Worth to mention a great performance of Franco Mendez (188-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds. Dylan Bordon contributed with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. point guard Juan Frontera (178-2002) answered with 36 points (!!!) and 5 assists for Instituto. Instituto's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for San Martin. They maintain second place with 21-4 record behind leader Comunicaciones. Instituto at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. San Martin will play against Penarol (#11) in Mar del Plata in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Instituto will play on the road against Gimnasia CR (#19) in Comodoro Rivadavia and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Rio Gallegos. Local H.Americano (1-21) was outscored by sixth ranked Regatas (15-9) 115-65 on Saturday night. Joaquin Marcon stepped up and scored 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. At the losing side Franco Gauna responded with 17 points and 5 assists. H.Americano's coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Regatas maintains sixth place with 15-9 record. H.Americano lost their fifteenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. Regatas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. H.Americano will play against the league's leader Comunicaciones (#1) and hope to win that game.

Other games of round 25 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Argentino was crushed by Boca Jrs. in Buenos Aires 102-61. San Lorenzo beat Gimnasia at home 85-77. Boca Jrs. won against Obras on the opponent's court 96-85. Quimsa managed to outperform Riachuelo LR in a home game 97-87.



Boca Jrs. - Argentino 102-61

There was no surprise in Buenos Aires where 14th ranked Argentino (9-13) was crushed by third ranked Boca Jrs (19-3) 102-61 on Thursday. Boca Jrs dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Argentino's 26. They outrebounded Argentino 57-30 including a 42-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Santino Romegialli (204-2003) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and guard Juan Contegrand (190-2002) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Boca Jrs players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Agustin Cavallin (188-2001) responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds and forward Santiago Bilbao (196-2005) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boca Jrs maintains third place with 19-3 record having five points less than leader Comunicaciones. Argentino lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 13 games lost. Boca Jrs will meet at home Riachuelo LR (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Argentino will play against Obera and hope to secure a win.

San Lorenzo dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Gimnasia CR's 28. They outrebounded Gimnasia CR 56-43 including 16 on the offensive glass. Guard Juan Ramayo (185-2002) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners and power forward Ian Cerino (206-2002) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Very expected game in Buenos Aires where 9th ranked Obras (13-10) was defeated by third ranked Boca Jrs (19-3) 96-85 on Saturday. Boca Jrs forced 19 Obras turnovers. Strangely Obras outrebounded Boca Jrs 46-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Boca Jrs made 17 blocks. Center Nicolas Burgos (207-2003) stepped up and scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks for the winners and Manuel Rodriguez (203-2002) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds.
