Here is the weekly review of the top performing Argentinian players, who play currently abroad.
#1. This week's number one is former international guard
Santiago Scala (187-1991, currently plays in Brazil). He could not help
Vivo/Franca (29-3) in their last game on Friday. Despite Scala's very good performance the league leader Vivo/Franca was defeated
88-82 in a derby game by the one of league's weakest teams Corinthians (#10).
He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Scala also added 3 passes.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Scala has relatively good stats this season: 12.3ppg, 4.6rpg, 3.0apg, 2FGP: 57.9%(11-19), 3FGP: 37.3%.

#2. Second place goes to an experienced former U18 international point guard
Jonatan Machuca (186-1989, currently plays in Brazil). Machuca was not able to help
Paschoalotto/Bauru in their last game. Despite his very good performance his team lost
75-79 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#8) Pinheiros.
Machuca was the top scorer with 26 points. He also added 3 passes (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in 35 minutes.
This year Machuca has relatively solid stats: 12.5ppg, 1.7rpg, 3.3apg, 3FGP: 34.2% and FT: 96.3%(26-27) in six games he played so far.

#3. The Argentinian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U19 international point guard
Cristian Cortez (185-1990, currently plays in Mexico). Cortez was not able to secure a victory for
Fuerza Regia (13-3) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his good performance the league leader Fuerza Regia was badly defeated
100-80 in Chihuahua by the leading Dorados.
Cortez scored 12 points and added 3 assists.
This season Cortez averages: 7.0ppg, 4.4apg, 2FGP: 45.2% and FT: 83.3%.
He has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Mexican.
Cortez played for the Argentinian U19 national team year ago.
#4. Forward
Fabian Ramirez (200-1990, currently plays in Uruguay) was the major contributor in
Cordon's victory against the sixth-ranked U.Atletica (1-1)
76-70 in a derby game in the Uruguayan Metropolitan (second division) last Friday.
He had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Ramirez also added 4 assists in 35 minutes.
Atletico Cordon Montevideo (1-1) is placed third in Places 1-7 group.

Thomas scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Abejas de Leon (1-15) is placed fourth in the LNBP.
Thomas' stats this season are: 13.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.8apg and 1.8spg.
He is a naturalized American.

#6. Point guard
Juan Brussino (185-1991, currently plays in Mexico) faced previously mentioned Cristian Cortez in the Mexican LNBP last game.
Brussino led
Dorados to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Fuerza Regia (6-2) crushing them
100-80.
He scored 15 points, made 7 passes and 3 steals in 31 minutes.
Brussino's stats this year are: 14.1ppg, 3.9rpg, 5.4apg and 1.5spg in eight games.

#7. Former U17 international center

#2. Joseph Avila was not able to help

Miramar (1-1) in their last game. Despite Gamboa's very good performance the sixth-placed Miramar (1-1) was badly defeated
85-66 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked (#5) Sayago in the Places 8-14 group.
